Error:
The value entered does not match with the specified type. The value will be stored as text.
Cause:
A slash is being used to show the short date and the date separator in the Regional Settings.
Solution:
Use a hyphen instead of a dash.
1) Click 'Start' todisplay the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'.

3) Open the 'Regional Settings' icon.

4) Click the 'Date' tab.
5) In the 'Date Separator' and 'Short Date Style' boxes, change the symbols to hyphens.
6) Click 'OK'.
